About the role
Photography and Videography:
Assist in the planning, styling and execution of commercial photoshoots
Ensure efficient and timely setup, lighting, and styling of subjects to ensure a smooth photoshoot process
Liaise with suppliers and source for props and/or ingredients required for the photoshoot
Build, create, and customise sets based on the mood board
Attend client meetings to understand their goals and liaise with them for the photoshoot logistics
Collaborate with the wider team and contribute to the creative process by brainstorming and developing mood board ideas based on client requirements
Capture images for social media content, product shots, and other subjects in various forms: stills, reels, videos, etc.
Keep up with the latest trends, tools, and best practices in photography and content production while actively experimenting with new techniques
Post-production editing:
Edit photographs in post-production to optimise visual aesthetics
Make fine adjustments to colour balance, brightness, title frames, etc. based on internal critiques or client feedback
Manage multiple projects simultaneously while delivering high-quality photography content on time
Equipment and Studio Assistance:
Maintain and ensure the functionality of photography equipment, encompassing cameras, lenses, lighting and associated gear
Assist in maintaining and organising the cleanliness of the in-house studio
Provide event and administrative support as required
Requirements
2 years of professional photography experience, preferably in an in-house or commercial environment
A diverse portfolio showcasing proficiency in various photography styles and techniques
Competence in utilising professional photography equipment, including cameras, lenses, lighting, accessories, and more.
Proficiency in professional editing software such as Adobe Lightroom, Photoshop, Capcut, etc.
A deep understanding of composition, styling, lighting, and the art of visual storytelling
Meticulous attention to detail and a consistent track record of delivering high-quality results
A team player adept in communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration with the internal team and external stakeholders
Effective multitasking, time management and organisational skills to meet project deadlines consistently
Adaptability to pivot in response to shifting priorities and excel in fast-paced environments
