Health Promotion Board Less Sugar Campaign
FOOD STYLING
Food Stylist: Ryan Foo
In a bid to encourage healthy eating and reduce sugar consumption among Singaporeans, the Health Promotion Board releases a βLess Sugar campaign targeted at each major ethnic holiday (ie. Chinese New Year, Hari Raya Puasa, Deepavali). For the 2019 Hari Raya edition, we were invited to style the food in the theme of healthy Malay dishes. This involved the conceptualisation, on-site cooking of traditional Malay dishes such as Ketupat , Beef Rendang and Lontong. These were paired with fresh fruits and vegetables to place emphasis on the theme of wholesome eating.
