The Health Promotion Board (HPB) is a government agency that actively advocates healthy living with property nutrition, physical activity, mental well-being, and more.
As part of HPB’s efforts to reduce Singaporeans’ salt intake by 15%, a national campaign was launched to promote lower sodium alternatives such as K-salt, and low sodium soy sauce.
We were engaged by HPB for our food photography and food styling services to produce photos and cinemagraphs for the campaign. We were tasked to style a series of local dishes in a home setting to inspire home cooks to try out these recipes. The goal was to showcase the vibrancy of these dishes to elicit bold flavours even with a reduction in salt. We opted for bright photography and colourful ingredients, playing with herbs and spices in the foreground to add dynamism to the image.
The visuals were featured on Health Hub’s website as part of their recipe series, and OOH advertising at train stations.

In a bid to encourage healthy eating and reduce sugar consumption among Singaporeans, the Health Promotion Board releases a ‘Less Sugar campaign targeted at each major ethnic holiday (ie. Chinese New Year, Hari Raya Puasa, Deepavali). For the 2019 Hari Raya edition, we were invited to style the food in the theme of healthy Malay dishes. This involved the conceptualisation, on-site cooking of traditional Malay dishes such as Ketupat , Beef Rendang and Lontong. These were paired with fresh fruits and vegetables to place emphasis on the theme of wholesome eating.

Working with Ogilvy & Mather Singapore, we were commissioned to produce the Changi Happy Hour campaign for Changi Airport Group. The campaign comprised of various images shot at Changi Airport’s Transit area that features its various lifestyle components for travelers: cosmetics, retail & electronics, dining and duty-free liquor. The campaign was shot over 3 sessions to produce banners and gif videos, requiring Digital Imaging to piece the various facets together. The final product was featured on Changi Airports website, social media and various digital screens in Changi Airports Transit terminals.
