The Health Promotion Board (HPB) is a government agency that actively advocates healthy living with property nutrition, physical activity, mental well-being, and more.
As part of HPB’s efforts to reduce Singaporeans’ salt intake by 15%, a national campaign was launched to promote lower sodium alternatives such as K-salt, and low sodium soy sauce.
We were engaged by HPB for our food photography and food styling services to produce photos and cinemagraphs for the campaign. We were tasked to style a series of local dishes in a home setting to inspire home cooks to try out these recipes. The goal was to showcase the vibrancy of these dishes to elicit bold flavours even with a reduction in salt. We opted for bright photography and colourful ingredients, playing with herbs and spices in the foreground to add dynamism to the image.
The visuals were featured on Health Hub’s website as part of their recipe series, and OOH advertising at train stations.

In line with KFC x Transformers Rise of the Beasts, we were engaged for our professional food photography services. The campaign featured two of KFC’s most popular burgers: The Original and the Zinger Burger.
The image was captured from a first person’s perspective with hands in frame, resembling the viewpoint of the diner when eating a burger to evoke a sense of hunger. Every element of the burger was styled to perfection, from selecting the buns with an optimal amount of sesame seeds, the right amount of mayonnaise, fresh green lettuce, and crsipy fried chicken, and elements in the foreground. To complement KFC’s signature red logo, we handpainted the backdrop so create visual texture instead of a flat paper backdrop which would come across as flat.

Located in Robertson Quay, the U.S. Center for Dairy Excellence (U.S. CDE) is the first of its kind established outside of the United States of America. Designed as a learning destination and ideation hub, it focuses on promoting dairy products and cementing its relationship with Southeast Asian business partners.
The brief was straightforward — shooting breakfast favourites and well-loved regional dishes with dairy products as the highlight. We curated a wide variety of dishes — appetizers, mains, desserts, and beverages. Each shot places the main dish front and centre, with embellishments of accompanying ingredients. Heritage dishes were given a warmer treatment and vintage props to evoke the aesthetics of yesteryears. In contrast, modern dishes and breakfast sets were given a cooler and brighter treatment, but with similar ingredient styling for a cohesive look and feel.

Hainanese Chicken Rice is a Singaporean staple, and we were stoked when Sing Swee Kee approached us for our food photography and food styling services.
Founded in 2001, Sing Swee Kee is one of the rare establishments to keep the notion of old school Chicken Rice Balls alive. Inspired by their fiery orange chilli sauce, we used an orange backdrop and warm colour tones to add vibrancy to the otherwise neutral palette of simple, yet tasty plates of Chicken Rice. In contrast, the spicy noodle bowls were shot on a light grey backdrop, accentuating the vibrant reds of the various chillis and fresh ingredients.

We were engaged by Good Meat to shoot a series of photographs to mark the launch of their infamous cell-based Nugget in 2021. We curated several recipes — Chicken & Waffles, Spaghetti, Kebabs and Chinese buns — to create international appeal. For their 2022 campaign, Good Meat partnered with a local eatery — Loo’s Hainanese Curry — to recreate their famous dish with cell-based chicken meat. We opted for moody tones and a soft focus to evoke a sense of luxury to the hero dishes. Similarly, for the campaign shoot, we opted for softer tones and a muted palette to bring out a sense of nostalgia.

Rasapura takes Laksa to the next level, elevating the humble street food with premium seafood for luxury in every bite. As an ode to Singapore’s heritage as a fishing village, we used rustic textures such as hemp and rattan. Each main dish was embellished with complementary ingredients of dried chillis and banana leaves to fill the frame. Laksa and its seafood has natural warm tones of red and orange. To create a focal point, we contrasted the dishes with a muted grey background, allowing the hero dishes to pop naturally.

Finally, we created full table settings with iconic Asian dishes — Steamed Buns, La Mian, Dumplings and Banh Mi — juxtaposed with orange chopsticks and hands in frame to create a hearty communal dining setting.

Revelling in moonlit splendour, we partnered with Glenfiddich to develop not one but two exquisite snow skin mooncakes for Mid-Autumn Festival. Inspired by the brands’ iconic whisky flavours, we worked closely to conceptualise the entire concept–recipe development & product manufacturing, packaging design, illustration, set design and photography.
The Glenfiddich Our Original Twelve Mooncake is an ode to the brand’s symbolic Valley with a Matcha-pistachio snow skin in a forest green hue and aromatic hints of apple, pear and vanilla. With a filling of roasted barley and brown sugar, it mimics the nuttiness of the whisky, offset by a white chocolate pear jam and whisky truffle at its core.
Encapsulating the mysterious allure of the twilight hour, the Glenfiddich Our Solera Fifteen Mooncake is enriched with hints of spicy, honeyed oak. Its skin is infused with dark ganache whisky truffle speckled with peppers and chilli for a light hint of spice. Its purple skin envelopes a filling of honey and orange blossom, which enhances the piquancy of the mooncake.

Sourbombe is the innovative mashup of sourdough and Italian Bombolini (‘Bomb’ shaped doughnuts stuffed with pastry cream) but with an artisanal twist. The brainchild of Gen Lee in collaboration with our director C.R Tan, this branding project was conceptualised within a short timeframe of 2 months (during the circuit breaker no less).
With sourdough bombolini at the forefront, we aspired to create a brand that was fun and quirky, hip and trendy. To achieve this, a witty brand voice with ‘bombe’ puns and bright pop colours were used in the design and packaging. Accordingly, vibrant hues and harsh lighting were used in the photography to bring out the delicious flavour profiles of each Sourbombe.
