Revelling in moonlit splendour, we partnered with Glenfiddich to develop not one but two exquisite snow skin mooncakes for Mid-Autumn Festival. Inspired by the brands’ iconic whisky flavours, we worked closely to conceptualise the entire concept–recipe development & product manufacturing, packaging design, illustration, set design and photography.
The Glenfiddich Our Original Twelve Mooncake is an ode to the brand’s symbolic Valley with a Matcha-pistachio snow skin in a forest green hue and aromatic hints of apple, pear and vanilla. With a filling of roasted barley and brown sugar, it mimics the nuttiness of the whisky, offset by a white chocolate pear jam and whisky truffle at its core.
Encapsulating the mysterious allure of the twilight hour, the Glenfiddich Our Solera Fifteen Mooncake is enriched with hints of spicy, honeyed oak. Its skin is infused with dark ganache whisky truffle speckled with peppers and chilli for a light hint of spice. Its purple skin envelopes a filling of honey and orange blossom, which enhances the piquancy of the mooncake.

We had the pleasure of working with Capella Hotel Singapore, to produce a series of photographs to showcase their extravagant fine dining dishes.
For our 2019 photoshoot, we opted for a clean and natural light setting that allowed the colourful elements of the dish to shine naturally. The minimalist effect also retained an air of elegance, working perfectly to complement their branding as a luxury hotel.
The 2023 photoshoot showcased several hero dishes from Capella’s new menu. To give an updated look and feel, we played around with light and shadows, using tropical plants like Monsteras to evoke the tropical landscape of sunny Singapore.
Similarly, the Lunar New Year shoot was given the same light and shadows treatment. This time, we opted for warmer lighting akin to sunsets. This alludes to the time for reunion dinners, where families gather and bask in the warmth of familial love.

Sourbombe is the innovative mashup of sourdough and Italian Bombolini (‘Bomb’ shaped doughnuts stuffed with pastry cream) but with an artisanal twist. The brainchild of Gen Lee in collaboration with our director C.R Tan, this branding project was conceptualised within a short timeframe of 2 months (during the circuit breaker no less).
With sourdough bombolini at the forefront, we aspired to create a brand that was fun and quirky, hip and trendy. To achieve this, a witty brand voice with ‘bombe’ puns and bright pop colours were used in the design and packaging. Accordingly, vibrant hues and harsh lighting were used in the photography to bring out the delicious flavour profiles of each Sourbombe.

Leckerbaer is a gourmet café serving cookies and pastries in the Østerbro district of Copenhagen. They’re all about the re-invention of Danish butter cookies and are well-known in the Scandinavian Michelin-Star scene.
As part of Leckerbaer’s official launch in Singapore, we were invited to shoot their extensive selection of Småkager favourites as well as their Lemon & sea buckthorn tart. To keep the focus on the Danish butter cookies, we opted for a minimal style and natural tones to highlight the brand ethos of their cookies decorated with the heart and soul of the chef.

Banyan Tree is famous for its luxury spa treatments based on Asian-inspired ingredients and natural botanical blends. As part of their Essential Oil series, we were commissioned to shoot their latest product range. Working with Poppy Flora Studio for floral styling, we created a moody forest backdrop for the group shot, complete with moss and ferns to emphasize the natural ingredients of the products. For individual shots, the mood and lighting differed, depending on the ingredients of the blend, with floral and fruit-based oils given brighter lighting and vibrant hues and wood blends with lush greenery and darker tones. Paired with hand models, the overall look and feel exuded that of a cinematic fairytale forest.

Moonstone Bar/Mason Kitchen is a hipster bar and ‘modern community centre’ located at Telok Ayer that specialises in elevated Asian street food and cocktails. The bar is envisioned as an unpretentious space that brings patrons together over hearty food and drinks. The art direction utilized the existing eclectic elements of the bar, with porcelain Chinese tableware and utensils to accentuate the Asian elements. Traditional tiles and simple backdrops were used to bring the focal point back to the colours of the dishes and cocktails.

It was indeed a privilege to work with Luzerne, a modern heritage tableware brand and Singapore's longest established ceramics producer. For Luzerne's 2017 catalogue, we produced a series of photographs for their new collections — Marble, Web, Scallop & Artichoke and Knit series. To accentuate the differences and unique features of each collection, we experimented with lighting and a myriad of food colours to compliment the texture and hues of the tableware.
